Jim Rogers : Always bet against the Central Banks

Jim Rogers : The Swiss National bank has been wrong several times in the past few years , I do not worry too much about Central Banks one of the things I have learned in my career is usually if you against the Central Banks you are probably going to be very successful , The Swiss National Bank did knock down the Swiss franc few weeks ago and they have done it few times in the end the market has more money than any central bank including the Swiss Central Bank - in The street.com Interview

Jim Rogers: 2012 Investment Strategy

Jim Rogers: (if you have cash ) first of all make sure that that cash is the right cash because if you put your cash in the wrong place ...few years ago many people put their money in the Icelandic Krona they were very safe they had sound currency they were earning high rates of interests and of course the krona collapsed and some of these people lost all their money , so make sure you are in the right cash , first of all I own various currencies , what I do with my money ? I own commodities and currencies and I am short stocks I am short American technology stocks I am short European stocks I am short emerging markets stocks that's what I am doing , who knows if i am right .....the main currencies I am long are the Yen and the Swiss franc i do own some Euros I do own some US Dollars , I better by the Swiss Franc if I had to buy something today
Jim Rogers "the 19th century was the century of the UK , the 20th century was the century of the US , the 21 st century is going to be the century of China "
